Meet the people

Karen & Troy and their daughter Ani

Karen & Troy

Karen & Troy purchased the vineyard back in 2016 and have supplied premium fruit to some of the most renowned wine producers in New Zealand. The vineyard is located in the Bridge Pa Triangle which is widely recognised as some of the best grape growing land in the country due to it’s unique soil profile and climate. The oldest vines on the site are nearly 25 years old which provides a depth of flavour to the fruit. They have spent the last 8 years learning about the site and it’s potential and have switched focus in the vineyard to now growing grapes for their own range of premium wines.  Karen studied Viticulture & Oenology (winemaking) at Lincoln University and Troy has a background in both FMCG account management and farming.

It has been a real family affair with 3 generations of the family working in the vineyard together during the summer and at harvest time.

Karen & Troy have years of experience working with the environment and believe in the principles of sustainability and kaitiakitanga.   The herringbone pattern implies a sense of tradition and history and conveys a feeling of interconnection.  It’s the interconnection between the the land, climate and people that result in wines of distinction.

Karen & Troy live with their daughter Ani and dog Ludo. They both have a love of good food and wine and in particular enjoying both with friends and family.
